Date: 2/7/2018 Card: The Star Deck: Tarot of Vampyres Artist: Ian Daniels Keywords: Hope, Optimism, Spiritual Awakening, Trusting the Divine My Interpretation: Like most Major Arcana cards, The Star is complex. This card represents our faith in the divine and the trust that the Universe will come through for us. It can also refer to the fact that we are made of the essence of dreams, and that our Will may become manifest. All in all, this is a card of hope and of looking toward the things we want to make manifest in our lives. I tend to think that this card means "relax: the best is yet to come" (this is particularly relevant if you consider the way the Star precedes the Sun [and the moon, for that matter]. Look at the Majors as a journey, where the Star must go through the Moon to reach the Sun. Relevance: I need to put my trust and faith in the divine, because I am made of the same stuff as the stars. Date: 2/6/2018 Card: The Chariot Deck: Everyday Witch Tarot Artist: Elisabeth Alba Keywords: Travel, Forward Momentum, Choices, Cooperation My Interpretation: This is one of the most loaded cards in the deck, in my opinion. Different authors will give you different ways to interpret the card, and Deborah Blake (the author of the companion book for this deck) emphasizes making a choice between two opposing forces. This is visible in this adaptation of the card's artwork (but different artists conceptualize this card differently). My personal interpretation of this card when it appears in a spread is ALWAYS that it relates to my need to focus on moving forward. Sometimes it might be a struggle to make everything work, but the path isn't always to the left or the right: Sometimes it's straight on ahead.
