Card Of The Day February 4th 2018 - Queen of Wands

Date: 2/4/2018
Card: The Queen of Wands
Deck: Everyday Witch Tarot
Artist: Elisabeth Alba
Keywords: Female Empowerment, Strength of Spirit, Nurturing, Perseverance
My Interpretation: The Queen of Wands is the woman who wants it all -- and knows how to get it! She's not afraid to chase her dreams, and she has confidence that she deserves nothing short of the best of everything out of her life. She doesn't rely on her King to make things happen for her: She's the sort of woman who gets what she wants through determination and strength of will. There is NOTHING she can't accomplish.
Relevance: This card represents me. I interpret 90% of Court Cards I pull as representing me in relationship to my current experiences because I don't ask a lot of questions that involve outside forces. (See my "about" page for more information about how I use the tarot in my personal practice.)

This card is a perfect representation of who I am on my current path. I am working to manifest my Dreams, to create tangible, quantifiable goals, and working toward achieving those. My path is directly one of complete trust in the Universe to provide for my needs (the nurturing side of this Queen) but also one which involves working toward goals (because part of the joy is in the work). I am at a point in my life where I know how to get what I want, and I'm going to make it happen. That doesn't require help from anybody else!

Card of the Day February 5th, 2018 - Eight of Pentacles

Date:  2/5/2018 Card:  Eight of Pentacles Deck:  Mystic Faerie Tarot Artist:  Linda Ravenscroft Keywords:  Apprenticeship, Industrial Growth, Personal Development on the Material Plane, Practice My Interpretation:  This card is all about practice, practice, practice! This card refers to a stage in life where the seeker is working hard to learn something new -- often a trade -- and has begun to accomplish some of their goals. Good things are happening and material growth can be expected when this card appears in a reading! Relevance:  Just last night I did some tarot practice readings. I took on quite a few to finish within this week (in exchange for feedback, which has been good all in all!). My plan is to continue these practice readings and to enjoy the process of doing so. The card is spot-on with its relevance and with its advice. I don't want to rush into paid readings just yet, but I'm enjoying the process of learning to be a better tarot...

Card Of The Day February 7th, 2018 - The Star

Date: 2/7/2018 Card: The Star Deck: Tarot of Vampyres Artist: Ian Daniels Keywords: Hope, Optimism, Spiritual Awakening, Trusting the Divine My Interpretation: Like most Major Arcana cards, The Star is complex. This card represents our faith in the divine and the trust that the Universe will come through for us. It can also refer to the fact that we are made of the essence of dreams, and that our Will may become manifest. All in all, this is a card of hope and of looking toward the things we want to make manifest in our lives. I tend to think that this card means "relax: the best is yet to come" (this is particularly relevant if you consider the way the Star precedes the Sun [and the moon, for that matter]. Look at the Majors as a journey, where the Star must go through the Moon to reach the Sun. Relevance: I need to put my trust and faith in the divine, because I am made of the same stuff as the stars. There is nothing I can't do with the power that is already...
